Tabaluga Kinderstiftung & Peter Maffay Stiftung |
| The Tabaluga Children’s Foundation and the Peter Maffay Foundation stand for the representation of the interests of children who live on the darker side of life and the provision of protected living spaces for them, for the development of new, innovative projects, professional help and a lobby for traumatized children. The foundations helps children and young people who have had their existence threatened and are extremely scared of being hurt again. Many of them no longer have any trust in the world and other people – and not without reason. » For more information visit the website of the Peter Maffay Foundation |

Förderverein Söhne Mannheims e.V. |
| The increasing number of children living in poverty and the growing number of reports on old people living in isolation in Mannheim were reason enough for the Förderverein Söhne Mannheims e.V. (friends of the music group “Sons of Mannheim”) to become active in their own town. Their declared goal was a “House of the Generations” that would be beneficial to the community and provide help where needed in a flexible and unbureaucratic way. The association took the first step with their project “Aufwind” and started to get things moving in a part of the city of Mannheim. They rented a parish hall that was hardly being used any more, renovated it, built a barrier-free entrance and installed a wheelchair lift, furnished office and counselling rooms, and fitted a kitchen and cafeteria in the main hall. » For more information visit the website of Aufwind Mannheim |
